Denplan
Most people believe that tooth decay, gum disease and tooth loss are an inevitable part of growing older; but if you know how to take care of your teeth you should be able to look forward to a healthy mouth, throughout your life.
We recommend that our patients follow a programme of preventive care, using the skill of our practice team and support of a Denplan payment plan.
Denplan Essentials is about funding key elements of a preventive programme. As well as helping you look after your oral health so you can enjoy a healthy smile, it protects you in many other ways, by providing help in emergencies for instance.

Questions & Answers
Q. What are the benefits of Denplan Essentials to me?
A. Denplan Essentials enables you to budget for the cost of the dental care required to monitor you oral health (examinations, x-rays and hygiene treatment), with the additional back up of Denplan’s worldwide 24-hour Helpline and accident & emergency insurance.
Q. What if I need dental treatment, is this covered by Denplan Essentials?
A. No. Any dental treatment required will need to be paid for separately, but you will receive a 10% discount off our private fees being a Denplan essentials patient.
Q. Is there any way that I could cover the cost of my treatment?
A. Yes, by registering with Denplan Care. Your dentist calculates a monthly fee by completing a simple chart that takes into account various factors regarding your oral health. A. No, Denplan Essentials is a payment plan that enables you to budget for routine examinations, x-rays and hygiene treatment as specified by your dentist. However, Denplan also arranges, on your behalf, worldwide supplementary insurance to cover the cost of treatment required as a result of an accident or in the event of an emergency.
Q. How will my fee be paid?
A. Although your Denplan Essentials contract is between you and your dentist, your monthly fee is paid to Denplan, which acts as a collecting agent for all Denplan member dentists.
Q. Once I’ve signed a Denplan Essentials contract, can I cancel it?
A. If you wish to cancel your Denplan Essentials contract, this can be done by giving 21 days’ notice. Your contract will expire on the last day of the month. Cancellations will be accepted by telephone or in writing to Denplan. Please note that it is important that you also inform your dentist of your decision. You can find all the details of your membership on the copies of the contract you signed.
Q. Who am I in contract with?
A. You are in contract with your dentist. Denplan simply acts as collection agent for all Denplan member dentists.
