Dr Sandeep Vasireddy

With over 20 years of experience since his qualification in 2001, our Co-Principal Dentist, Sandeep, has developed and reinforced his skills in a range of clinical procedures. These procedures include routine and complex extractions, implant placement, sinus lifts, full arch reconstruction, soft tissue surgery, and bone grafting. Sandeep completed the prestigious one-to-one dental implantology course at The University of Sheffield. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He has also served as a Specialty Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The James Cook University Hospital. Whether it be in the general practice or hospital-based setting, Sandeep is sure to discuss all treatment options in a way that enables patients to make informed decisions. His aim from the start has been to empower patients to regain control of their dental health, while sustaining a beautiful, healthy smile along the way. Aside from his brilliant work in dentistry, Sandeep lives with his lovely family. Dr Nikhil Gandhi

Dr Nikhil Gandhi is a highly skilled dentist with a Masters in Prosthetic Dentistry from University of Bristol. With 12 years of experience in a secondary care setting, Nikhil has a special interest in Oral Sugrery, routinely managing complex extractions, impacted wisdom teeth and surgical procedures. His expertise extends to cosmetic dentistry, where he specialises in enhancing smiles through composite bonding, veneers and full smile make overs. Dr Nikhil Gandhi is dedicated to providing high quality, patient focused care, combining technical precision with an artistic approach to deliver both functional and aesthetic excellence.
Dr Steve Malcolm

Steve qualified from Leeds University in 1992 with degrees in Pathology and Dentistry and joined the practice in 2014 as a partner. He has now sold the Practice and is enjoying being semi-retired. Steve enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially preventive and Periodontal (gum) work. Outside of work Steve is a great cook and he enjoys entertaining, gardening and cycling.

Richard qualified from Newcastle University in 1993 and joined the practice in 1995, becoming a partner in 1998. He has now sold the Practice and is enjoying being semi-retired. He particularly enjoys his cosmetic work with white fillings and tooth-coloured restorations. Outside of work he enjoys racing cars, is a keen skier, hillwalker, cyclist and Dad to his two boys.

Miss Carol Punton

Carol is our Practice Manager, a familiar friendly face, bringing over 3 decades of experience in dentistry, initially qualifying as a dental nurse in 1986, teaching dental health in the community, before joining the practice in 1991.
She excels in overseeing daily operations, improving patient experiences, and promotes a supportive environment for staff and patients. Known for her strong communication (she loves a chat!) and organisational skills, Carol bridges clinical and administrative aspects of dental care effectively.
Outside of the practice Carol enjoys gardening, walking her dog, Alfie and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs Leanne Heslop

In addition to her clinical role, Leanne has a strong interest in the practice’s social media and IT development. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two young children, as well as with family and friends.
Mrs Sheena Bell

With over 25 years of experience, Sheena brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Since qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2001, she has gained additional post-qualifications in Dental Radiography and Dental Decontamination Leadership.
Her interest has always been in surgical procedures, and she has recently attended further training in oral surgery and advanced dental implant nursing to help assist patients through all stages of their treatment at the practice.
Highly knowledgeable in dental procedures and the decontamination process, Sheena ensures every aspect of her work meets the highest standards of safety and care. Known for her kind and thoughtful nature, she creates a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and colleagues alike, making her a valued and trusted member of the dental team.
Mrs Kate Chaurley

Kate is one of our friendly and dedicated dental nurses here at Castle View Dental Surgery.
Kate , bringing over 29 years of experience to the team. She officially qualified as a dental nurse in 2005 and later went on to qualify as a sedation nurse, allowing her to provide exceptional support and reassurance to patients undergoing more complex or anxiety-inducing treatments.
Throughout her career, Kate has worked across a wide range of dental settings, gaining extensive knowledge in all aspects of general and sedation dentistry. She particularly enjoys assisting with implant procedures, where she can combine her precision, technical skill, and patient care to help achieve excellent treatment outcomes.
Kate is known throughout the practice for her warm, caring nature and the way she puts patients instantly at ease.
Miss Grace Smith
Trainee Dental Nurse
Grace is our apprentice dental nurse and she joined our team in May 2024. She is thoroughly enjoying working in Dentistry and has settled in well to our team. Outside of work Grace enjoys gaming and playing with her new puppy, Mabel.
Miss Eryn Ogden
Decontamination Nurse
Eryn is our new trainee dental nurse, she has been with us since December 2024 where she started as our decontamination nurse. Working with us her curiosity was spiked in dentistry leading to her starting an apprenticeship in June 2025 to become part of our amazing team of dental nurses. Eryn hopes to continue her studies in dentistry and has aspirations of becoming a dental hygiene therapist.
